Color as Medicine: Working through Creative Blocks through the Medium Of Natural Dyes
Color as Medicine: Working through Creative Blocks through the Medium Of Natural Dyes
Join Cara for a new two hour special ONLINE workshop. Cara will present on the history of natural dyes and the intersection of craft, ecofeminism and her own creative practice. The presentation will last for 45 minutes and dive into how Color, Spirituality and Medicine are all inextricably linked. After the workshop the floor will open to questions from the participants, where Cara will help you craft a personalized plan for your projects. We will then go into break out rooms so you can workshop ideas with each other. The class will then end with an action plan and closing remarks.
Bring your projects, work you feel stuck with, and questions. If you feel like have been stumped, blocked or stifled with certain work you want to release, this workshop is for you. You DO NOT have to be a natural dyer to attend. This workshop is for those who are curious about the medium of natural dyes, and are looking for a creative outlet to trigger inspiration.
The floor will be open to laterally workshop each others questions, provide feedback in a safe space, and offer solutions and suggestions with a compassionate ear. This is NOT a critique.
